Conveyors with metal detectors are used to eliminate product contamination with metal elements or some plastics. The sensitivity of the detector is adapted to the type of product transported, operating conditions and the structure of the feeder. Taking all these factors into account, we have developed a number of solutions that facilitate the integration of the detection into the production line. Depending on the amount of space at the customer’s disposal and the work characteristics, we make conveyors with a retracting roller, arched, rising and straight.
According to the arrangements, we select the appropriate parameters: width, height, length, contaminated product rejection system and methods of signaling after detecting contamination. The carriers in this type of solutions are mainly modular belts and special PVC belts.
